Competition structure for development players.

NSFA SAP Competition.

NSFA approved 12 clubs including WPFC to participate in the Skills Acquisition Programme (SAP) in the 2020 season

  • A player development competition for 8-11 year old players (male and female)

  • To qualify to participate in the NSFA SAP programme, WPFC must maintain a minimum of 3 teams per age group including:

    • 1 x SAP team

    • 1 x Junior graded team (Development Squad)

    • At least 1 other team per age group (Community teams)

NSFA Super League.

  • Youth Mixed Division 1 competition 

  • WPFC will field a Super League team in every age group in the 2020 season: U12-U18

  • The NSFA requires participants in NSFA Super League teams to train twice per week under a training model of their choice

  • WPFC also aim to have a community team in each age group

  • Players choosing to play in community teams will be allocated to a team in future TAGS in February 2020

NSFA Diamond League.

  • Diamond League is the NSFA Junior Girls Division 1 competition.  

  • WPFC will enter teams into the Diamond League for the following age groups: G12-G18

  • The NSFA requires participants in NSFA Diamond League teams to train twice per week under a training model of their choice

  • WPFC also aims to have a community team in each age group.
