About our club

West Pymble Football Club was established in 1957 and for the last few seasons has had an average of over 60 teams playing each year in the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) competitions. With more than 900 registered playing members, this makes us among the four largest clubs in NSFA.

We have teams playing in the following:

  • Junior (Mixed) Non-Competition (known as "MiniRoos") – Teams for Under 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 for boys & girls.

  • Junior (Mixed) Competition – Teams for Under 12 through to Under 18.

  • Men’s All-Age.

  • Men's Over 35.

  • Men's Over 45.

  • Girl's Competition – Under 9 & above, including the "Diamond League" for Under 11, 12, & 14.

  • Women's All-Age.

  • Women’s Over 35.

Our All-Age Premier League team has been in the top echelon for many years - winning the league for the past three years! This is a very good standard of football to which we are hoping many of our junior members aspire. Indeed several NSFA Representative players come from West Pymble.

We also have many opportunities for those who may be getting back into the sport or have not played before and are mainly looking to have fun, meet new friends and get fit.

We also have our Special Needs Program which is specifically for children and adults aged 5–21 years with special needs.

We're run by volunteers:

The club is run by volunteers for its members. Roles range from Committee members through to coaching and team management. To assist, courses are available for those interested in coaching and refereeing. Team managers will also be provided with extensive information, via "Age Coordinators", to assist them in their roles. Our Committee ensures the smooth running of the club and is there to help managers and coaches whenever necessary. If you can help the club in any capacity, please contact a Committee member with your ideas.
