Duke 4Sport at
West Pymble Football Club

West Pymble Football Club is proud to be a Duke 4Sport Partner, supporting young people completing The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

Through their involvement with WPFC, Award participants may be able to use a range of football-related activities towards the Physical Recreation, Skills or Voluntary Service sections of their Award.

Opportunities at WPFC may include:

  • Playing football as part of a registered WPFC team

  • Assisting with the coaching of junior teams

  • Refereeing or developing refereeing skills

  • Volunteering at club events, presentation days, gala days and other activities

  • Helping with team, equipment or match-day duties

  • Supporting other approved club and community activities

The availability of particular activities will depend on the participant’s age, experience, qualifications and the needs of the club. Some roles, including coaching and refereeing, may require training, accreditation, supervision or Working with Children Check requirements.

Participants remain responsible for registering for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award through their school or Award Centre and confirming that their chosen activity meets the requirements of their Award level and section.

If you are a current or prospective WPFC member completing the Award, please let us know when registering or contact the club to discuss the opportunities that may be available.

West Pymble Football Club is proud to help young people develop their skills, confidence, leadership and connection with the community through football.
