Club Info night 23 November- Super League announced by NSFA (U12 - U16)!
NSFA has recently made a significant announcement for youth footballers in the U12 to U16 age groups with the launch of the Super League competition in 2018, to replace what was previously Division 1.
WPFC will be hosting a 2018 Super League Info Night at the WPFC Clubhouse (Norman Griffiths Oval) next Thursday, 23 November at 7:45pm. This announcement however is much more than a name change for the top Division. It is a change of strategy to a Development League giving aspiring footballers the highest level of opportunity, challenge and competition. It brings with it minimum mandatory coaching standards for participating Clubs and teams.
The standards mirror the commitments required by Clubs participating in the highly successful Diamond League competition for girls.
http://nsfa.asn.au/recent-news/2018-development-leagues-announced As with Diamond League, West Pymble FC intends to be a leadership Club in Super League, providing the best possible player development on the Upper North Shore. The Info Night will be held at the WPFC Clubhouse (Norman Griffiths Oval) next Thursday, 23 November at 7:45pm. The purpose is to discuss our ambitions and approach to Super League and planned collaboration with COERVER Coaching to achieve a program delivery above any other Club. Kevin Johnson and Cam Jones will be leading the discussion. As you know, Kevin is the Club President at West Pymble FC and Cam holds the position of Technical Director. Cam is also the Director of COERVER Coaching for the Sydney North Shore region.
